Horst Gaisbauer, based in Austria, has more than 20 years of professional experience in various areas of corporate finance. Since 2007 he has been active in the Venture Capital business and serving as a Senior Investment Manager for VC Funds. In addition he has been working with several Business Angels and a number of Startups. His specialisation is on early stage equity funding, where he was involved in more than 100 transactions including several successful exits. He shares his knowledge with new entrepreneurs via lectures and workshops on Venture Capital and early stage Startup funding and is acting as Mentor for Startups at Austrian business incubation programmes. Horst has also been working as an independent consultant since 2014.
